Saving Children from Terrorism, Violence and Oppression

The horrible, sad fact is that every day, an average of two children die in the Aegean. This brother and sister were rescued from hypothermia after MOAS found their sinking vessel.

The United Nations Human Rights Commission reports that since Alan Kurdi’s tragic death last September, refugee children are continuing to die. For the first time since we started our operations, women and children have become the primary beneficiaries of MOAS’ search and rescue missions. At MOAS, we are determined to stem the human suffering caused by horrific violence and oppression in the Middle East and in North Africa. We help people who decide to risk their lives to leave.

Some may call them refugees, some may call them immigrants. We call them brave. We call them human. We call them worth saving.
