Ian Richardson
(Artist on Struggle and Hope)
Ian Richardson is a comic book penciller, inker and cover artist best known for his work across several publishers, working on titles from 2000AD, Image Comics, Marvel UK/Panini, Dark Horse Comics & Zenescope Entertainment among others.
Like many UK artists, Ian’s first professional comics work started at 2000AD working on various Future Shocks, Sinister Dexter & Judge Dredd stories before moving onto Image Comics & the Nobles Causes series for a couple of years. With various stops along the way that have included initial work on the graphic novel for the Harrison Ford & Daniel Craig Cowboys & Aliens movie, some children friendly work on Captain America, the Falcon & Iron Man stories for Marvel UK/Panini, all the way through to work on the Halo comic books at Dark Horse Comics.
After many years as cover artist for Zenescope Entertainment across their many titles, Ian is currently back working for 2000AD, among others, as well as independent titles & being honoured to work with MOAS on this fantastic book you hold in your hands.
Mark Scicluna
(Artist on Storms of Fate)
Mark’s work is inspired by pop culture, comics and obscure memorabilia typically with an added dose of grotesque humour. His work has been featured on Gameranx, PC Gamer, IGN Portugal, EuroGamer and Gameinformer amongst others.
Mark has previously worked as a Senior Illustrator at Rockstar Games for five years, working on projects such as Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA V and GTA VI amongst others.
Prior to this he was a Design lecturer, a children’s book illustrator and a political cartoonist. Mark co-authored his first Maltese children’s picture book on gender equality in 2017. For his work in children’s publishing and illustration, Mark was awarded three Illustrator of the Year Awards at the Malta National Book Awards.
Julian ‘Julinu’ Mallia

Julian ‘Julinu’ Mallia is a multidisciplinary, Maltese visual artist specialising in concept-driven work.
Originally a psychology graduate, Julian now creates thought-provoking work within traditional fine-art and digital illustration contexts. His most representative visual output is typically idea-driven, characterised by atmospheric and surreal imagery and occasionally laced with dry humour.
Julian juggles his practice between visual art and drumming – hinting at his unconventional approach to creative expression.
Mario Torrisi
(Cover Artist)
Mario Torrisi was born in Rome on October 10, 1996. Always been passionate about drawing and automotive. He studied comics at the International School of Comics in Rome. His work was first published by Dynamite Entertainment in October 2017 where he worked on the last 20 pages of “Sheena – Queen of the Jungle #4”. More work followed, where in December 2017 he drew “Grimm Universe Fairy Tales #1,” published by Zenescope. He also worked for 133 Art on the comic book series “One Nation.” and with Visionary Comics as co-creator of The Knight. Mario is currently working on several other projects in America.His goal is for his art to reach as many people as possible.
